About Kobi Wu-Pasmore:

I’ve always been sort of healthy- at times partaking in a cleanse, eliminating meat from my diet, walking instead of taking a gas operated vehicle, using paper not plastic, etc. But once I became a mom,  I decided it is important to do more than simply abide by a “green checklist” (which I’ve discovered is sort of cliche new mom turns green, but if a new baby is inspiration then so be it.)  I figure if you know- you should do.  If you don’t know, you should learn.  And if you know more than someone else, you should share.  So here I am – a little of all of the above.  I’m no expert about green living- but I know a bit, I’m learning more all the time and what I do know, I share here at APlaceCalledGood.com be it a rant, a review, commentary or a report on what’s happening on the political front.  I hope what you find here provides some context for things that feel “over your head,” and simplifies what can seem like a daunting process of becoming green.  Please don’t hesitate to write a comment or email me if you find something compelling and thanks for stopping by A PLACE CALLED GOOD.

A little background: I am a marketing executive experienced in music/ entertainment marketing, event production and experiential marketing.  I started my blog at the time I knew I was going to become a mom. I researched ways to be an organic mother/ wife, melded that with my personal interests and style and shaped A Place Called Good to be about the things and that interest me from the green perspective. In my spare time (yeah right) I enjoy time with my family and friends, walking the streets of NYC, checking out foodie-land, trying my hand at golf, procrastinating about going to yoga, posting here and riding my shiney blood orange colored bike. I’m also an adjunct professor at the Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music at NYU/ Tisch School of the Arts and live in Manhattan with my husband, son and dog, “Bianca.”
