Hiring good people means you hire not only their skills, but also their coolness. Liane Moccia is a DOPE event manager. She’s one of those all-in-one kind of event people who is cool, gets it, has a sense of urgency and really doesn’t mess around- on top of knowing what the heck she’s doing. We worked together on the Smirnoff Be There event at the Transit Museum in Brooklyn and she kicked arse! My kind of gal!
Anyhow- during work she was walking around with this cool notebook- green indeed, but it wasn’t cool just because the color was green- it’s actually GREEN. In years past, Liane has worked at River to River Festival and this past year, the producers decided to reuse the banners from the event by making notebook covers out of them. Cute right? I dig it because it just looks cool and it’s just an understated but a big statement about the character of the producers. Kudos to The Usual Suspects LLC for being downright cool.
